Our Commitment

At Vitaraise we are commited to help in restoring good healthof women across USA but our commitment does not only end here. We want to dedicate our efforts in helping women and girls all across the world to gain educational, financial, emotional and physical independence and stability. We all know education for women and girls is so instrumental in lifting them out of the cycle of poverty, inequality and early marriage.

Our Effort

#DoYouKnow 52 million girls in sub-Saharan Africa are excluded from education! In partnership with CAMFED (The Campaign for Female Education), we are proud to be doing our small part in supporting girls across Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe to go to school. By supporting CAMFED School Days, we are helping to remove the barriers facing rural girls in sub-Saharan Africa and ensure they have everything they need to get an education from childhood.

Here is how we are helping:

For every two products sold at Vitaraise, we are donating part of the profits which will fund a day equivalent cost of school fees, uniforms, books, sanitary pads etc as needed for 1 girl to go to school for one day

About Camfed

CAMFED (the Campaign for Female Education) is a pan-African movement revolutionizing how girls’ education is delivered. Through a gold-standard system of accountability to the young people and communities it serves, CAMFED has created a model that radically improves girls’ prospects of becoming independent, influential women. CAMFED’s impact increases exponentially through the Association of young women educated with CAMFED’s support. Together, they multiply the number of girls in school and accelerate their path to livelihoods and leadership. CAMFED has already supported more than 4.8 million children to go to school across Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. By supporting CAMFED we aim to add momentum to their ambitious goals of supporting another 5 million girls to attend and thrive in school within just 5 years.

In the News:

  • Recently CAMFED held a virtual conversation between Fiona Mavhinga, Executive Advisor of the CAMFED Association and Mercy Chirwa, CAMFED Association member in Malawi, you can watch the full video here. Inspiring stories like Mercy’s bring to life the powerful impact of supporting women’s leadership, especially at times of crisis. Mercy has been leading frontline relief efforts for people displaced by Cyclone Freddy in Malawi and as part of her conversation with Fiona speaks more about her work and the impact it is already having.
  • Check out this short video of CAMFED Association members from Zambia singing to celebrate the growing movement of the CAMFED Association network to over 250,000 members across our countries of operation. Beginning in Zimbabwe with 400 members it demonstrates the growing movement of young women educated with CAMFEDs support becoming part of the movement that now spearheads our programs to help more vulnerable children to go to school, and becoming more widely visible in rural communities.
